Siddhartha Lal is the Managing Director and CEO of Eicher Motors Ltd., the flagship company of Eicher Group in India. Siddhartha has also been the Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield and the Chairman of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV); a joint venture between Volvo group and Eicher Motors Ltd. (EML).

From July 2008 to July 2010, Siddhartha was the CEO of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV). VECV is the third largest Commercial Vehicles' (CV) player in India and has ambitions to drive Modernization in commercial transportation and become a leading trucks and buses company in India and emerging world markets. During 2000-2004, in his tenure as CEO of motorcycle Manufacturer Royal Enfield (a division of EML), Siddhartha helped revive the company's Fortunes and also strengthened stakeholders' involvement with the brand.

He holds a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering from University of Leeds and is a Cranfield University qualified mechanical engineer. Siddhartha is also an Economics graduate from St. Stephens College in Delhi and an alumnus of The Doon School.

Siddhartha is also passionately involved in the subject of transportation and the role it has to play in sustainability, especially in urban settings; and its role in our health, safety and quality of life. Due to his efforts in this area, he has also been nominated as a part of the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Global Agenda Council on Personal Transportation Systems. As a young global leader at WEF, Siddhartha is co-championing the initiative - 'Transforming Urban Mobility'. He is also a part of the newly formed Next Generation Leaders Board at Indian School of Business.

B. Govindarajan has spent more than two decades at Eicher Motors Ltd and at Royal Enfield, and is currently the CEO of Royal Enfield, and Wholetime Director on the Board of EML since May 2022. In addition to this he also serves as EML’s  Director on the Board of Stark Future, where EML has acquired an equity stake.

 

Previously, Govindarajan had been serving as the Executive Director of Royal Enfield since August 2021, and prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the company since 2013.

 

In his role as CEO, Royal Enfield, Govindarajan leads the entire Royal Enfield business and is also responsible for spearheading the electric mobility plans for Royal Enfield. 

 

A veteran in the automotive industry, Govindarajan has more than 34 years of experience, 24 of these years, he has spent with Royal Enfield leading the organization at various stages through several critical projects. 

 

Govindarajan’s association with Eicher Motors Ltd. dates back to 1995 and has been in two stints. He has been responsible for several roles and has worked across verticals. At Royal Enfield he was responsible for the entire manufacturing activity and the implementation of the Lean and Quality Management Systems. He has been instrumental in implementing extensive cost management in sourcing and operations. 

 

In his present stint, he joined Royal Enfield in June 2011 as the Senior Vice President - Industry and was the Chief Operating Officer heading the entire technical organization at Royal Enfield from 2013 to 2022. During this time he has led several turnkey projects for Royal Enfield and has been instrumental in growing and expanding the company’s manufacturing facilities, and in bringing a paradigm shift in product quality, delivery and development processes and also played a significant role in elevating the company’s business performance. Under his leadership Royal Enfield has established Technology centres in the UK and in India. He has also been the driving force behind expanding Royal Enfield’s global footprint and led the setting up of 4 subsidiaries and 5 CKD plants for the brand. 

 

At Royal Enfield he has led the development of several key motorcycles including the likes of the Himalayan, the Interceptor and Continental GT - 650 Twins, the Super Meteor 650 as well as the more recent J-platform based Hunter, Meteor, Classic and the Bullet. 

 

He was recently recognized as the CEO of the year at the Manufacturing Today awards for his contribution to the manufacturing industry. He has a flair for excellence in everything he works for and has been a mentor to the young and upcoming talent in the industry.

 

He received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management.

Yadvinder Singh Guleria is the Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Enfield. He heads overall commercial operations with a focus on leading growth and spearheading marketing & sales strategies for India and International markets.

With more than 28 years of professional experience, Yadvinder comes with in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry. Prior to joining Royal Enfield, Yadvinder worked at Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) as Director - Sales & Marketing. He led the go-to-market strategies while focusing on dealer expansion and field team engagement. Yadvinder also has the credit of building a separate ‘Premium Bikes Business’ for Honda and leading the structuring of the organization, product portfolio roadmap, and policy-shaping. Before joining Honda Motorcycles, Yadvinder has worked with Yamaha, Hindustan Motors and Polaris India as commercial function leader.

With multiple industry awards and recognitions under his belt, Yadvinder is passionate about workplace creativity and building winning teams. He is an avid motorsports lover and a keen follower of the MotoGP.

Mark Wells is the Chief of Design at Royal Enfield. As a part of his current role, Mark leads Product Strategy and Industrial Design at Royal Enfield and works towards building and creating the company’s vision on mobility for the future. Mark joined Royal Enfield in 2015, but his association with the brand goes back much further.

Prior to Royal Enfield, Mark ran his own Industrial Design consultancy, Xenophya Design, established in 2001. It was then during this time that Mark began first collaborating with Royal Enfield on a number of projects including the Classic 500/350 and the Continental GT535.

Mark studied Transportation Design at Northumbria University in Newcastle Upon Tyne (in the North East of England), where he also met Ian Wride, who was on the same course. Together, they co-founded Xenophya. Mark has been an enthusiastic motorsports fan all of his life, inheriting his passion from his father and his grandfather who represented the British army in Speedway competitions in the 1940s.

Mohit Dhar Jayal is the Chief Brand Officer (CBO) at Royal Enfield. Mohit leads Royal Enfield’s brand strategy and heads creative and strategic thinking for brand and marketing functions.

An established brand and advertising professional with several stellar campaigns to his credit, Mohit has been associated with Royal Enfield in the past and played a key role in designing the blueprint for the company’s modern brand identity as an external partner between 2004 and 2014.

He is a seasoned brand specialist and has helped develop strategies and campaigns for category leading brands over the past two decades. These include the entire branding and customer experience blueprint for IndiGo; global campaigns for Incredible India; highly successful recruitment campaigns for the Indian Air Force; and the global ‘Make in India’ campaign. Prior to joining Royal Enfield, Mohit was leading an entrepreneurial venture Motherland Joint Ventures Pvt Ltd wherein he advised several of India’s current and emerging unicorns including Oyo, Swiggy, Snapdeal, Zetwerk, Magicpin, Rebel Foods & Chaayos.

Simon Warburton is the Chief Program Manager at Royal Enfield. He joined Royal Enfield in January 2015 as a founding member of the UK team and was the Head of Product Development till December 2020.

In his current role, Simon is responsible for sharpening & deployment of new NPI processes and ensuring robust program management in the company across functions to deliver on an ambitious product line up. The addition of an independent Program Management division led by a senior and experienced leader like Simon helps in firmly establishing this strategically important function. Program Management is a key capability that is an enabler for future success especially in developing and launching an array of new products in line with our business aspirations.

Simon began his career as a design engineer on motorcycle chassis, later moving to engine design and then leading motorcycle strategy at Triumph Motorcycles in the UK. In Royal Enfield, he has led a team of over 250 engineers, analysts and technicians in the UK and India.

A keen motorcyclist since childhood, Simon has competed at club level in several forms of motorcycle sport including motocross, trials, short circuit and endurance racing.

Sudhakar Bhagavatula is the Chief Information Officer at Royal Enfield. He joined the company in 2014 and brings with him over 23 years of extensive industry experience across India, Asia, US & UK in the areas of IT consulting, Product Engineering, in-house IT strategy and transformation. In his current role at Royal Enfield, Sudhakar will be driving the IT strategy for the company, enabling business processes and enhancing the IT infrastructure across the board. Sudhakar’s areas of interest include Strategy, Business transformation, IT as a disruptive enabler, Process leadership, building and motivating teams. His past appointment was with GE Lighting as Chief Information Officer, ASPAC, where he was responsible for leading IT growth strategy in line with GE Lighting’s ASPAC business. Prior to GE, Sudhakar worked with Oracle Corporation in the US and UK both in Product Development and Consulting divisions. Before Oracle Corporation he worked as an Oracle Technologist at South Florida Water Management District and Vital Computers in the US. Sudhakar is a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Andhra University and also completed Graduate courses in Computer Sciences from Mississippi State University

Vidhya Srinivasan is the Chief Financial Officer at Eicher Motors. She leads Finance function including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance Controllership, Investor Relations, Banking & Treasury, and the Regional Finance teams and Secretarial Function.

Vidhya is a seasoned veteran with more than 25 years of professional experience in financial planning & analysis, business partnering, corporate governance, legal advisory and investor relations across India and Asia Pacific region. Prior to this, she worked with Bata India Limited as the Chief Financial Officer. In her professional journey, she has held several senior finance roles with a wide exposure to various facets of finance in her earlier stints at Puma India, Sentiss Pharma, Aditya Birla Retail, Hypermarket and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals among the several other renowned brands.

Vidhya is a qualified Chartered Accountant (1993) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has a post-graduate diploma in business administration from IIM Ahmedabad (1997). She pursued her Bachelor of Commerce from University of Madras (1990).

His experience as a human resource professional spans across 20+ years in significant HR leadership roles at  prominent brands such as Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Coca Cola India, GE Capital International Services/Genpact.

Rajeev joined Royal Enfield from Tetra Pak, where he led and managed  HR functions for South,  East Asia and Oceania.

He had been been contributing to strategic aspects of business with a stout focus on talent development, succession planning, capability building and support capacity creation to achieve the intended business goals.

He is a seasoned professional with a track record for successfully delivering HR strategy to achieve business outcomes in multi-geography and multi-cultural settings.

Umesh Krishnappa is the Chief Technology Officer for EV at Royal Enfield.

Umesh brings with him over 34 years of experience in Technical Sales & Marketing, New Product Development, Operations & Manufacturing Excellence, Business Excellence & Process management, and Design Process & Development.

Prior to this, Umesh has worked with Ola Electric where he was Sr. Vice President and Head of Vehicle Engineering & Technology and Manufacturing Engineering. He spearheaded the engineering and development of Ola S1 Pro in a record time of 10 months. He was also the Sr. Executive Vice President at Mahindra Electric and worked on the development of the very first car Reva in the year 2013.

Umesh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration - Operations from Symbiosis, Pune, and is a qualified Mechanical engineer from SGSITS, Indore.
